An internal wont solve anything ( and i cant understand why she would make you wait for an internal that she could have done there and then). You need to have a scan ( like when you are pregnant) to see what's happening with your inside. Also ask for an immediate blood test. I dont want to worry you, it might not be anything, but excessive bleeding could be a symptom of a variety of things in very serious cases, leukemia or a liver problem. Go back to your doctor today and demand she do more immediately. Dont be fobbed off. She's waiting to see if the bleeding will stop on it's own but if it's something serious then you need to get it sorted right away.<br><b>References : </b><br> Go back to your doctor. I started using the contraceptive implanon and doctors think that is what caused my bleeding. The doctor will also probably request an ultrasound scan to see if there is any cysts etc or if there is any need for a D&C. As people have said you should go to the hospital but the doctor needs to tell you if he/she thinks it is necessary. I wouldn't worry too much at the minute about it and take some iron supplements to stop you from becoming anaemic.<br><b>References : </b><br> I have had this for the past 3 months.
