Why am I loosing alot of blood?
I am a women, I had a perios 2 weeks ago, I came of my period then on saturday I noticed some brown blood, I didnt think anything of it, then I started to get heavy bleeding but the blood wasnt like a period it look watery and pinky not red. As the day went on I was bleeding heavy and had some small blood clots, I could feel them come out of me thats how heavy and big the lumps were. The lumps were massive they were probably about the sixe of a 5p maybe a bit smaller, I say they were big lumps as I have never really had many blood clots when on a period.
On sunday I went to the toilet and I must of been bleeding in the night as my knickers were soaked with blood, when I go to the toilet the blood just runs out of me. Ive seen my doctor today but she couldnt really day what bthe problem is as she wwants to do a internal next monday. Has anyone experienced this before?
I hope someone can give me some answers.
Thanks for any help given to me.
I dont think I was pregnant, I had a period so I asume I wasnt pregnant.
The bleeding isnt that heavy now, its worst in the mornings and evenings and when I go to the toilet. The doctor told me if im still like it in a few days I should go back but in the meantime I got to wait for my internal examination
Does anyone think Ive miscarried?
I forgot to add Im on the pill and have been for the last 3 years.
I think you should go to the emergency room right away and get checked out. There are times when women go through abnormal periods, but they usually aren’t heavy. Go get seen ASAP!

I have had this for the past 3 months. I started using the contraceptive implanon and doctors think that is what caused my bleeding.
The doctor will also probably request an ultrasound scan to see if there is any cysts etc or if there is any need for a D&C. As people have said you should go to the hospital but the doctor needs to tell you if he/she thinks it is necessary. I wouldn’t worry too much at the minute about it and take some iron supplements to stop you from becoming anaemic.

Go back to your doctor. An internal wont solve anything ( and i cant understand why she would make you wait for an internal that she could have done there and then).
You need to have a scan ( like when you are pregnant) to see what’s happening with your inside. Also ask for an immediate blood test.
I dont want to worry you, it might not be anything, but excessive bleeding could be a symptom of a variety of things in very serious cases, leukemia or a liver problem.
Go back to your doctor today and demand she do more immediately. Dont be fobbed off. She’s waiting to see if the bleeding will stop on it’s own but if it’s something serious then you need to get it sorted right away.

i have also been having problems with my periods they have been so close together that i am always bleeding. i have also had blood clots and been very heavy. the doctors even prescribed me tablets for the pain and tablets to reduce the bleeding, which to be honest is not helpful and i havent taken them as i believe that something is wrong inside and i want it checked out, i was suppost to have an internal to check my ovaries also but the doctor did not do it, i have been back and forth to the doctors without anything being resolved either,
