You are in my heart
Like a bullet
A honey blood clot
That keeps the whispering well swept.
I hear your voices
Kicking the tears out of my eyes
Evaporating before they hit the floor
Yet that doesn’t bring me peace
These walls are filled with waterfalls.
Under this ocean
Of love
Our running is sluggish
Than the motion above
It is brilliant and floral
Like a reef full of coral
Under this ocean of love
You are in my soul
Like a dream
The unforgiving sun
Can’t hide its head under this horizon
I can feel your body
Like a ton of bleeding bricks
Changing your course like weather
You are the anvil
To my feather.
Under this ocean
Of love
There is a silence
We cannot dream of
Is beautifully sewn
To your flesh and your bone
Under this ocean
Of love
It is true when I say
That I have forgiven
But I have not forgotten
The days in the sunlight
And the nights wrapped in cotton
The kisses I swallowed
The purest design
It is true I admit
That love is divine.
