Demi’s POV

Well, here I am. The crying girl sobbing my life out in the bathroom, sitting against the wall.

I keep looking at the blade of my pocket knife, questioning. My life at home is good, but school is hell. And school is 7 hours of the 12 hours of my day. Then I’m home alone, and my mom is busy with my step-dad all day. My brother is my friend and all, but he can get annyoing like all brothers. Chelsea is busy hating me and Joe probaly does now too.

I hate my life, and I feel like I am a threat or annyoce to everyone except my little brother. Thats when I put the blade away, back into place where it cant stab me.

I have to stay here for my little brother, the one who everyone hates except me and my parents. Well, when my dad IS here. I never see him and when I heard from him last I was 5. I’m now 15. Pretty mean, huh?

I walk to my locker and no one notices me really. Thats good because my makeup is smeared over my face and I wipe it clearly off.

Then I see Joe coming. Uh-oh. Heres the moment Ive been waiting for all day. The moment he tells me off. I know he wont care about me in hystaircs now, hes mad. I brace myself for the worst impact of threats and insults.

But to my shock he asks, ‘What’s wrong, Demi?’ and wipes some tears that come rolling out.

Joe POV

Demi looks so bad, so hurt, so wrecked. Was it me? Was it Chelsea? I begged her not to hurt her, but I doubt it worked.

A puzzled looked came across her face. ‘Your not mad at me?’ she asked.
‘No, I know you to well already Demi. I know Taylor did something because before you were all over me.’
‘I was not! You are so wrong!’
‘Am I really?’
‘Maybe not,’ she pouted. ‘Am I that obvious?’
‘No, I just love you and I know.’ I slipped out by acciendt.

Just then, everyone crowded us in the hallway, and there was a dead silent. Then, as my heart was racing with panic, I saw Demi pull back a smile very slowly.
‘Not more then I do, Joesph Adam Jonas.’

The kids in the hallway cheered and we walked down the hallway together, hand in hand.

Thrombosis is the formation of a blood clot inside a blood vessel, obstructing the flow of blood through the circulatory system. When a blood vessel is injured, the body uses platelets and fibrin to form a blood clot, because the first step in repairing it (hemostasis) is to prevent loss of blood. If that mechanism causes too much clotting, and the clot breaks free, an embolus is formed which may enter circulation, finally lodging in and completely obstructing a blood vessel, which unless treated very quickly will lead to tissue necrosis (an infarction) in the area past the occlusion. If the occlusion is in the coronary artery, myocardial ischaemia is likely to occur, whereby cardiac myocytes cannot function proplerly due to lack of oxygen. This lack of oxygen is then likely to result in a myocardial infarction.
