Pain in my leg blood clot?

I am so scared right now from the replies I had from my last question about my pain in the back of my right leg.
I am 22 (naive 22), 5′5”, 11st 5lbs have had a D-Dimer test Chest X-ray, ECG a few months ago all were normal. On anti-depressants for anxiety. Went doctors friday and she mad me bend my knee on a chair to feel if it was tender or not and examined them, looked at them and said it was fine, felt fine and you know? But I asked about this online and they said it could be a blood clot. I get this little cramp pain when i lie down or sit down after a while, no swelling, not hot, not tender, just achy. Done a lot of walking last week with dogs, I have flat feet. I am really scared I cry with fear, am I being paranoid or is it a blood clot I am really afraid after what they said. Please help!
I have been the doctors numerous times over the last few months with my fear of blood clots, I don’t have the minor pain all day and only comes every so often, not consistently every 10 minutes or so, but just a little pinch every now and then. Those other answers scared the BeJeesus outta me! doesn’t help when someone says my brother died of the silent killer blood clot!

Unfortunately it is impossible to exclude leg clots once the suspicion is raised by symptoms and examination. Go see your GP for assessment. If he feels this is a possibility a quick scan is diagnostic either way.

Blood Clots Fears Help!?

Im 22, 5′5”, 11st 5lbs and have had a D-Dimer, ECG, Chest X-Ray and all were normal, my blood pressure was normal high as my doctor put it. I requested to get a MRI Leg Scan, just waiting for appointment. I have had a ache in my right leg for a good few days and at end of ankle. I got new trainers because I have flat feet to help my posture better. I have been walking the dogs up and down a long field nearly everyday. I keep thinking the ache is a blood clot and it send the fear into me.
I am on anti-depressants for anxiety, is this all it is? those symptomatic pains? I really have an abnormal fear of blood clots, I keep thinking my leg is swollen or swelling even though it doesn’t look, my mum says it’s not as she suffers from an unexplained swelling of her knee for 15 years now.
I keep reading these things online that people don’t feel a blood clot it just turns into a Pulmonary Embolism and kills you! and others say they only get a little cramp in there leg and it was a blood clot and now I am freaking out! help!
I have been doing a lot more lately than I used to.
I have had this aching in my leg for a few days now is it normal?
I am so scared it’s horrible! All I keep thinking it " it has to be a blood clot, those people online only got a ache or cramp and it turned out to be a blood clot pulmonary embolism" , fills most of my head with this.

i don’t think you have anything to worry about, i think it’s your anxiety. if you had a DVT your leg would be red, swollen and hot. the thing is, the more you read about the symptoms, the more you will convince yourself you have it. i think the reason your leg is aching is definitely due to your new trainers. if these trainers are those kind that make your posture better, then the chances are the pain you are feeling is due to using muscles that you weren’t using before. so please don’t worry yourself sick about getting a DVT, you are a decent weight, you are exercising, i presume you don’t smoke and your very young; so there is no reason why you are at risk of a DVT. they usually occur in people who have been immobile for a long time, say after an operation – which is why it is important to get patients moving about asap after surgery – or people on long haul flights. usually it is the things we worry most about, that never happen. that doesn’t mean you should carry on worrying about blood clots so that it will never happen! lol. i think it is just your anxiety, and if the antidepressants are not making any difference to it, you should maybe see your doctor about changing them to another type.
