This clot was found via CT Scan in my abdomen. The clot that occurred in 2008 was found in my left leg/ calf muscle behind the left knee as well as in my Left Iliac Vein in Stomach. The one in 2002 was found in my Upper Left Thigh; which was possibly related to a recent trip to Alaska and then a return flight home.
I have had over 6 ulcers in both my ankles and both ankles are scared from wound care strategies to heal the ulcers.
I also take on average per week, pending a Good end of the month INR of 2.4; 17 Warfarin Sodium 5mg tablets. I am a 47yo Male.

I would like to know this; Can a tattoo be created for a Coumadin patient w/o piercing the skin and instead lay flat on top of the skin? Can thus tattoo be made somewhat permanent? That way Tattoo Artists can create their masterpieces via their own ideas or the clients idea w/o having to insert a needle into the thin layer of skin, thus causing the client to bleed profusely. Thank you.

My idea would be related to my experience in the Army back in 1989 – 1990, etc… I have a shirt from Basic Training with my Infantry Company, Platton and Platoon Motto. On back of shirt was my nickname my platoon gave me.
I sure would this to happen sometime soon and meet the Tattoo Artist(s) who might be able to achieve this task for me before the next inevitable clot might occur again. By the way, I live in Massachusetts.

Tattoos only work because of the needles, your skin is constantly shedding, and a ‘tattoo’ that just lies on the top of your skin, will not last. It’d be akin to doodling on your skin with a ballpoint pen, it just isn’t going to happen.
