Has anyone had a blood clot in your leg?

I was hospitalized then put on blood thinner. Had two ultrasounds. How long were you on blood thinner? What other course of treatment did you receive i.e. therapy, vascular study, etc? Were you referred to a vasular physician? I’m 9 months on blood thinner but don’t seem to be getting much relief from swelling, pain, cramps. Please let me hear from someone who’s been through this.

I haven’t had a blood clot, but the people who have stay on blood thinners. Since your symptomatic I would suggest you consult with a vascular MD.

I know Vit. E taken 400IUs 2X/day helps to thin blood & is often used by cardiologists. (wouldn’t do without speaking to MD).

Grapeseed extract 95%, 200 mg. /day Helps to maintain/strengthen the walls of blood vessels.
